What is the [IDA Image editor?
The new IDA Image editor is the perfect tool for creating screenshots and editing your images. The functions can due to the batch processing well be used in software simulations.
The image editor is an image editing program that includes numerous functions to get desired results quickly and easily. For example: With a few clicks, you can highlight an image area, or add additional objects such as rectangles or arrows.
Tools of the [IDA Image editor
The tool bar contains functions for drawing additional objects such as rectangle, circle or arrow. You can even draw on the image with the pen or color an area with the paint bucket.
With “Insert Image” another image can be embedded in the picture. The pipette determines a color value in your image. In the field of color, you can set two colors. The front color is the primary color and is used for all lines, the pen and the paint bucket. The back color is used as fill color of drawing objects. Click a color to match the color value in a color dialog.
The properties help you to set the opacity and format graphical elements.
Editing features
Via the "Picture" menu, you can create a “new image” or "Open" an existing one for editing. Your changes can directly be saved in the picture or in a new file. (You can find "Save
as ..." by clicking the small arrow to the right of the “Save” button).
The reset function allows you to undo any changes and you will come back to the original version.
Besides the usual editing functions cut, copy, paste, you can show the image lager or smaller by the zoom function, what simplifies the editing.
In screenshot you see the screenshot features you can also reach them over the icon in the tray bar. (The status area of the Windows task bar - usually the bottom right where the time is shown)
